SAT Testing

The SAT is a set of standardized college admissions tests developed by the College Board. Students typically take this assessment during their junior and/or senior year. Many colleges/universities are now test optional so be sure to research your particular school to understand their requirements. More information can be found on the college board website.

ACT Testing 

The ACT is college readiness assessment for high school achievement and college admissions. Students typically take this test during their junior/senior year. Many colleges/universities are now test optional so be sure to research your particular school to understand their requirments. Visit the ACT website for additional information.
 
 
 
 
Did you know...students on free/reduced lunch are eligible for 2 fee waivers/year for the SAT and ACT. Obtaining an SAT/ACT fee waiver allows students to apply to many colleges/universites and to the NCAA eligibility center for free. If you are uncertain if you are eligible, contact your school counselor.  
 
 
ASVAB Testing
 
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a multiple choice test, administered by the United States Military Entrance Processing Command, used to determine qualification for enlistment in the United States Armed Forces. The State of New Jersey allows students to use scores from this assessment for graduation purposes. More information can be found on the ASVAB website.
